General Information


With the help of this plugin, you can access an extensive collection of CAD models that are available via the CADENAS platform. 

The plugin is easy to install ( Click here to view the Article Guide: Plugin 3Dfindit Installation ) with just a few clicks and enables a precise search and the direct import of specific components into your project.


Plugin 3Dfindit functions in AutoCAD


After installation, the "3Dfindit" tab is located in the AutoCAD ribbon. Clicking on it gives you access to four buttons, divided into 2 categories. 



Info CADENAS
A window will open in which you will find the current version, a link to the website and the license agreements.
Support
The System info window opens. If support is required, the form can be filled out. This will end up in the support mailbox and will be answered by a support agent within the next 2 working days.
Replace
The "Replace" function can change an existing element in a drawing with a new product that can be downloaded from 3Dfindit.
3Dfindit
If you click on it, a new window opens and you can search for the right product directly in 3Dfindit in order to load it directly into the CAD system.


How to use Plugin 3Dfindit with AutoCAD



If you open 3Dfindit via the interface ( 1 ), you can find the product you are looking for using the wide range of search and filter options ( 2 ). Once you have found the product you want to load into the CAD system, use the "Send to CAD" button ( 3 )


A selection window appears in which you must make at least one selection. If you click on "Export", the product is transferred to the CAD system in the desired setting.
