General Information |
To find a specific item on 3Dfindit, you can use various filter options to narrow down your search. The different options can also be combined as required to achieve a more precise result - however, some search functions require a certain order to be followed when combining.
The search methods already used are displayed in the search field. They can be removed or edited at any time by clicking on the corresponding element in the search field.
Once all search parameters have been created, you can click on the magnifying glass to start the search. The search process can take some time depending on the precision. If the result displayed is not satisfying, for example because it is still too imprecise, you can then adjust your search filters or add new ones to filter again. The search criteria can be edited by left-clicking. The element can be removed by clicking on the x.
If you have adjusted the search and want to search again, you need to click on the magnifying glass. If you are in the catalog view, you can add a folder to the search. It is also possible to filter within the displayed catalog by order no./type code, country/region and market.

Combined Search |
It is possible and even necessary to combine the various search methods and filters to achieve a precise result. There are a few things to bear in mind to ensure that the search works smoothly:
All predefined filters (under the Filters item) and catalog filters (under the Catalogs item) are higher level than the other search options and must first be added to the search field. If they are added later, all previous search criteria will be removed from the search field.
All search options can be used together, and it is also possible to use a filter more than once as long as the criteria are not mutually exclusive.
